BETHEL — On Wednesday, February 13, at 11 a.m. the Bethel Senior Citizens will meet at the Funky Red Barn for a meeting and dinner. The dinner is a choice of roast beef or haddock and the price is $12. Reservations must be made before January 31, by calling Caroline Gould at 824-3226 or Arlene Lowell at 824-2877.

Socrates Café

WATERFORD — A Socrates Café gathering will be held at the Waterford Library on Monday, February 4 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month. The group offers a forum to discuss current topics and ideas in a warm, friendly atmosphere, where divergent views will be welcome. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.

The topic for the February meeting will be: “Who controls our ground water?” The moderator is Earl Morse.

PARIS — Floyd A. Harlow Jr. VFW Post 9787 will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, at the Maine Veterans' Home on 477 High Street in South Paris.
