Socrates Cafe

WATERFORD — A Socrates Café gathering will be held at the Waterford Library on Monday, January 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month.

The group offers a forum to discuss current topics and ideas in a warm, friendly atmosphere, where divergent views will be welcome. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.

The topic for the January meeting will be “Does The Earth Have Rights?” The moderator is Jim Kearney. For more information call 583-6957 or email the library at wla@waterford.lib.me.us.
