DUV meets

NORWAY — The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-65, Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19 held the December meeting and Christmas party at the home of Marilyn Jones in Norway, on December 5, at 5 p.m.

The second nomination of officers was held as follows: President Marilyn Jones, Sr. Vice President Dayle Burnell, Jr. Vice President Mary Jones, Treasurer/Secretary Sylvia Grover, Chaplain Frances Grant, Patriotic Instructor Brenda Woods, Press Correspondent Marilyn Jones, Guide Margaret Stevens, Guard Loretta Andrews, Council Members, Dayle Burnell, Marge Bihan and Lynn Cummings, Color Bearers, Mary Jones, Cayla Heath, Barbara Robinson and Deanna Merchant.

Christmas stockings were filled for disabled members.

The next meeting will be February 27, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the same location.
