Swingin' Bears dance slated

PARIS — John Thompson, former club caller and recipient of the Yankee Clipper Award along with his wife, Judy, will call the Swingin' Bears Square Dance Club December Annual Teddy Bear Dance at the Oxford Hills Middle School, Pine Street in South Paris on Saturday, December 8, from 7 to 10 p.m.

The cuer for the round dancing will be Carol Stewart.

Stuffed toys will be gratefully accepted to be distributed by Right Start for Kids, a program of Community Concepts in the Oxford Hills Area. Nondancers are welcome to come and watch at no charge.

Admission is $6 per person; there will be door prizes, Pot o' Gold drawing, and refreshments at intermission.
