Cans for Cubs

OXFORD HILLS — The Cub Scouts of Paris, Norway and Hebron are accepting donations of can goods and unopened hygiene products for the local food bank. Pack 130 will have donation boxes at the following locations: Don's Redemption Center, Norway Town Office, Guy E, Rowe School, Paris Elementary, Oxford Hills Middle School and Hebron Station.

They will be collecting the products on November 8 for delivery to the food pantry on the following day. Because Thanksgiving is right around the corner, the food bank representative stated Thanksgiving items are appreciated.

In addition, the food bank is always in need of items such as tuna, peanut butter, boxed macaroni and cheese, any type of pasta, and coffee is always appreciated.

The Cub Scouts, along with the leaders and parents, would like to express their thanks for the great support they receive from the communities and local businesses. For more information, please call Cub Master Jim Hatch at 743-8399, Committee Chair Carissa Winning at 743-0317 or event coordinator Michelle Corbett at 754-4529.
