GOP gives gift

OXFORD COUNTY — During the Oxford and Fryeburg Fairs, all attendees might have noticed that the Oxford County Republican Committee (OCRC) had at its booth a donation jar set aside to collect monies in support of the Oxford Helping Hands Food Pantry.

They are now pleased to report that the amount collected was $160, which has been presented in the form of a check to Suzanne Grover, President and founder of this group, by Tom Curtis, Chairman of the OCRC.

At the presentation, Mr. Curtis stated that, “This gift to the many most in need in Oxford County indicates that they can count on the unwavering support of all Republicans during this time of extreme economic hardship.”

Ms. Grover was very pleased with the benevolence of the OCRC and replied that, “This is another great example of people helping people.”

As in the past at these Fairs, the Oxford County Republican Committee is fervently behind the support of the citizens of Oxford County who, for one reason or another, are finding these economic times difficult.
