SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chapter of AARP will meet on Monday, October 29, at the First Congregational Church on East Main Street in South Paris. Dinner will be served at noon and will include beef stroganoff with noodles, vegetables and their delicious dessert.

The cost is $6.50 and reservations are required by calling Ruth at 744-9069 by Friday, October 26. The business meeting will begin at 1 p.m. with the program to be announced.

Historical Society

OXFORD — The Oxford Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 26, at the museum on Pleasant Street. Refreshments will follow the meeting, after which those who wish may carpool to the home of John Crumpton to tour his home.
