History of clock and bell planned

PARIS — On October 18, the Paris Cape Historical Society members and friends will hold their monthly meeting at the First Baptist Church on Paris Hill at 7 p.m.

There will be no business meeting or refreshments. Instead, Donald Adamson, the keeper of the clock and Revere bell will present a video and narration of the history, maintenance and operation of the clock and bell.

The video was made by Sidney Gordon, an expert in the field of photography and old pictures. This is a program not to be missed.
