NORWAY — Norway Historical Society is sponsoring Coffee with the Curator Saturday, September 22 at 9 a.m. Curator Charles Longley will present an informal program as guests sit around the table enjoying coffee and a treat.
Curator Longley will provide a close-up look at some of the society’s recent acquisitions and explain research materials available as well as answer questions about the society and Norway’s history.
Recent acquisitions include an original Civil War document that is very important to Norway history, shoemaker's tools used 100 years ago in a Norway shoe shop and several Noyes prints.
Please join in for coffee, a treat and some very interesting artifacts and conversation.

NORTH WATERFORD — The Oxford County Retired Educators Association members will meet on Friday, October 21, at 10:30 a.m. at the North Waterford Congregational Church on Route 35.
All retired public school personnel are invited to attend for a brief business meeting before the noon luncheon.
This is the Association's first meeting since June, and the fundraiser is a book sale, so bring any books in good condition deemed interesting. The cost of the noon dinner is $7. John Kimball will be the speaker.
