PARIS — Rob Federico, Norway’s police chief, will be the featured speaker at the August 16 meeting of the Paris Cape Historical Society. He will speak on matters concerning law enforcement, in which he has extensive experience.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and be held at the society’s building at 77 High Street, South Paris. The public is most welcome. Refreshments will be served following the

WEST PARIS — The West Paris Historical Society will have its regular August meeting on Monday, August 20, with a potluck supper at 6 p.m. and the meeting at 7 p.m. If the weather is good, the supper could be outdoors again for there is a small barbecue. There might even be ice cream desserts.

There are some important decisions to make on sales and calendar sales so the Society can continue its existence. Come on out and join in the fellowship and laugh awhile. For more information, call Betty Jones at 674-2507.
