Loon Echo celebrates 25 years

BRIDGTON — Join Loon Echo Land Trust while the organization celebrates 25 years as a vital conservation organization at their Annual Meeting on Saturday, August 25.

The meeting will be held near beautiful Sebago Lake at Camp Skylemar in Naples from 5-8 p.m. The cost for the evening is $25 per person; please rsvp with your meal choice by Wednesday, August 15 by calling 647-4352 or e-mail beth@lelt.org.

The evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres and drinks in the garden, followed by a dinner of roasted chicken or pasta primavera where those attending will overview organizational highlights.

They will end the night being entertained by guest presenter, author and conservationist David Morine, sharing some fun tales of his experiences in the conservation field. David is the author of "Good Dirt: Confessions of a Conservationist" and "Two Coots in a Canoe."

There will be signed copies available for purchase. The evening is open to members and general public alike and is a great way to either get acquainted with the organization or see the progress that they continue to make in protecting the natural resources of the community.
