Bee Club

SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford Hills Honey Bee Club will hold a workshop field trip on Saturday, August 11. Meet at 12 p.m. sharp at the home of Henry Hamilton in Otisfield. The workshop will be on preparing, medicating and feeding bees for fall and winter and disease. Bring a picnic and a chair to sit on. Knitting

SOUTH PARIS — The Western Maine Knitting Guild will meet at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7, at the First Congregational Church in South Paris. The group will be planning its exhibit for the Oxford Fair, so come with some ideas.

TLEA

OXFORD — Thompson Lake Environmental Association will hold its Annual Meeting on Saturday, August 4, from 9-11 a.m. at the Station House Community Center, 223 King St., Oxford. The meeting promises to be informative and interesting with keynote speakers Gregg Hesslein, District Forest Ranger, and Richard St John, CEO of Otisfield. All persons interested in Thompson Lake and its watershed are invited to attend.

Nature Club

SOUTH PARIS — The Twin Town Nature Club will meet on Monday, August 6, at 10 a.m. in the Walmart parking lot (south side near Route 26) and carpool to Rolfe Brook and Hacker Hill in Casco. Bring a picnic lunch. Visitors are welcome. For more information, call John Crampon at 539-2902.
