Bethel Seniors

BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8, at Stony Brook Campground in Hanover. This will be the picnic and members will bring a salad or dessert to share. The program will be a member of the Bethel Rescue who will speak on safety for seniors.

Weary Club

NORWAY — The Weary Club will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, August 1, in the Meeting Room at the Norway Town Hall.

Historical Societies

HARRISON — The Annual Meeting of The Harrison Historical Society will be held on Wednesday, August 1, at 7 p.m. Please meet at the museum on Haskell Hill Road to enjoy a presentation by Gerry Smith on Early Local History. This is a chance to learn how Harrison and neighboring towns were created. For more information, please call Elaine Smith at 583-2213.

WEST PARIS — The West Paris Historical Society held its regular supper and meeting outside with a picnic because the hall is overflowing getting ready for the annual hall, yard and bake sale. This gigantic sale is almost all from four or five lots. The sale will be held Saturday, July 28, from 8 a.m.to 1:30 p.m. There will also be cold drinks and hot dogs, red and steamed.
