Daughters of Union Veterans

DONATION —   The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865 Hannah F. Richardson Tent #19 of Stoneham presented a check to the Western Maine Veterans Home in South Paris, to be used for their musical entertainment. Receiving the check on behalf of WMVH was Activity Director Pat Paar. Presenting the check was Senior Vice President Department of Maine and President of Tent 19, Marilyn Jones. Sylvia Grover, secretary/treasurer of Tent 19 and Dayle Burnell, senior vice president of Tent 19 and WMVH resident Al Stronach were also present. Tent 19 decided rather than exchange gifts this past Christmas they wanted to do a fundraiser for WMVH.
