NORWAY — The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865, Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19 held their first meeting of the new year on February 26, at the home of Marilyn Jones in Norway.
Installation of officers was held. Past President and longtime member Elaine Lagueux was installing officer. Sister Barbara Robinson served as chaplain. The Charter was draped in memory of Eleanor Lowe, past national president of the G.A.R. (ladies group) and also two real daughters and two real sons.
A committee, consisting of Marilyn Jones, Dayle Burnell and Barbara Robinson, was formed to write new bylaws for Tent 19.
New member Cayla Heath received her membership badge which had been on order since last August. It was pinned by President Jones. Brenda Woods won the mystery prize, which was donated by Sylvia Grover.
The next meeting will be March 27, at 6 p.m. at the same location.

PARIS — Oxford County Educators Association - Retired will hold a meeting on Friday, March 22 with a 10:30 a.m. social, 11 a.m. business meeting and 11:45 lunch, followed by the program, Travels with John. There will be a fundraiser, a 50-50 and a raffle. The meeting will be held at Oxford Hills Technical School, Route 117/26, South Paris (entrance in the rear of the school). Weary Club
NORWAY — The Weary Club of Norway will be hosting a morning coffee for club members and the general public on Saturday, March 16, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at 385 Main Street, Norway.
Another morning coffee will be held on Saturday, April 20, same time and same place.
