Bishop visits Trinity Lutheran

PARIS — Newly elected Bishop James Hazelwood met with members of Trinity Lutheran Church recently. After introducing himself, he led a discussion of the state of the church and how they will meet the challenges of this time.

At his installation in September Bishop Hazelwood promised to visit every one of the 185 congregations in the New England Synod of the Lutheran Church in his first year in office.

Although the Bishop arrived in South Paris in a car, he rode his motorcycle to his installation. His leadership is expected to be forward moving and forward thinking.

Trinity Lutheran is located at 34 Buckfield Road in South Paris. Sunday worship is at 10:15 a.m.
