Sharing stories with Valerie Tutson

NORWAY — The Second Congregational Church, U.C.C. invites you to enjoy dynamic storyteller, Valerie Tutson. On Saturday, October 13, from 2-4 p.m., the beloved performer and teacher will lead an interactive storytelling workshop, “We All Have Stories to Tell.”

Valerie will engage participants in learning how to tell their personal stories as well as participate in unique story-telling activities. At 7 p.m. the evening crowd will delight in her storytelling performance of “Tales from Around the World.”

Valerie Tutson, a graduate from Brown University, with a Masters Degree in Theatre Arts, has been telling stories and leading workshops in schools, churches, libraries, festivals, and conferences since 1991, drawing her stories from around the world.

Her repertoire includes stories and songs she learned in her travels to Africa and from African American history.
