Christian Men's Conference is coming soon

AREA — The first annual Western Maine Christian Men’s Conference is fast approaching. This area wide multi-church sponsored event has been in the planning stages since last January. The Conference theme is “Building Strong Men in Tough Times.”

A Kick off rally is taking place at the South Paris Baptist Church (2 Park Street) on Friday night, September 14 at 7 p.m., with Pastor Tim Fox of the Oxford Advent Christian Church as the featured speaker.

Conference day, Saturday the 15th, starts at 8 a.m. at the Crosstone Conference Center, which is located in the Mollyockett Motel building, on Route 26 in Woodstock. The morning session featured speaker is Pastor Kevin Smart of the South Paris Baptist Church. Four great choices for lunch will follow.

The afternoon featured speaker is Pastor Dallas Henry of Hosanna Church in Oxford. There are also eight different morning and afternoon workshops featuring great speakers. Additionally, there will be an "all star" worship team made up of men from several Maine churches.

Registration is only $15 for all this, including lunch.

Western Maine Christian Men is a ministry of the Pastors' Prayer Fellowship.
