First Congregational offers Vacation Bible School

SOUTH PARIS — First Congregational Church of South Paris is holding a mini VBS for children ages 7-11 from 9:30-11 a.m. on the following six days: July 17,18, 19 and 31 and August 1 and 2.

VBS is free of charge. Any child in the Oxford County area is welcome to attend. Children do not need to be a member of First Congregational Church to participate. VBS will be held at the Haskell House next door to the Church.

The theme, "Take a vacation from School! Take a vacation with God" will take a look at the Old Testament and New Testament stories that tell of people traveling with God. God will be their travel companion as participants explore Bible stories, supported by arts and crafts, games, prayer and a snack.

Each session is a stand alone session so children are free to come to any one of the scheduled sessions or attend all six. In order to ensure that we have enough supplies, it is necessary to register your child.

To register your child for any one or all of the dates, e-mail congo@megalink.com and request a registration form. One will be e-mailed to you as a printable attachment. Or you may pick up a form at the Church office Wednesday, Thursday or Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
