First Congo hosts storyteller, mime
PARIS — The First Congregational Church Youth Group in South Paris, in honor of the Church's 200th anniversary, is hosting Antonio Rocha, storyteller and mime, on Friday July 20 at 7 p.m.
The Youth Group is extending an open invitation, free of charge, to children, teens and adults in Oxford County to attend Antonio's "Moral Tales from Around the World."
A great family evening - you'll laugh, learn and be totally engaged in the age-old stories.
Antonio Rocha, born in Brazil, came to Maine on a cultural exchange program. He learned mime and storytelling at Celebration Barn Theater and has been mesmerizing audiences of all ages since.
He performs all over the world. A true performance artist, Antonio will delight old and young alike. He's riveting. Currently he and his wife (formerly of South Paris) live in Gray.
The First Congregational Church Youth Group is delighted to be able to offer this program as a way of celebrating their Church's 200th anniversary. For information contact the Church at congo@megalink.net or cynthiajriley@hotmail.com.
