CASCO — Please join in at the Casco Village Church, United Church of Christ, 941 Meadow Road (Route 121) in Casco for a journey to Easter.
Holy Week begins March 24 with a "Palm to Passion" Sunday Service at 10 a.m. Later in the week on Maundy Thursday, March 28, at 7 p.m., experience the Passion story as you've never heard it when Choir Director Eugene Long and the Casco Village Church Choir perform Dubois' "Seven Last Words of Christ," with accompanist Evan Cuddy. It will be, simply, unforgettable.
Good Friday, March 29, dawns with the annual Hunger Walk for the Casco and Raymond Food Pantries beginning in Casco Village at 5:30 a.m. Then, participate in a holy vigil in the sanctuary beginning at 12 noon on Good Friday and continuing through the night until Holy Saturday at noon.
March 31 is Easter Sunday, with a 6:30 a.m. daybreak service outside around back of the church followed by an Easter Breakfast at 7:15 a.m. courtesy of the CVC men! And don't miss the 10 a.m. service of celebration, with choir singing and instruments playing, after which there will be an Easter egg surprise for each of the children and youth. It's resurrection joy and they would love to see you there!
PARIS — Deering Memorial United Methodist Church announces their upcoming services.
On March 23, the church will hold their Palm Sunday Service at 10 a.m. On March 28 at 7 p.m. Deering Memorial will join Bolster’s Mills United Methodist for their Maundy Thursday Service that will be held at Bolster’s Mills UMC on the Bolster’s Mills Rd. in Harrison with Pastor Joan Spitzform.
There will be a mission offering taken with the proceeds going to the purchase of new underwear and socks for the upcoming 3-C Clothing giveaway to be held on April 27 at the Norway Grange. The 3-C Clothing Giveaway is a joint mission project between the two churches and the Norway Grange.
On Friday, March 29 the church will welcome people participating in the Good Friday Walk of The Cross. Lay Leader Jinger Duryea will give the sermonette service. The Easter Service is on March 31 at 10 a.m. followed by refreshments.
The congregation, along with Pastor Anna-Jean Alexander and Rick Jackson, Ministry Team Member from the Deering Memorial UMC, hope to see you during this Easter season. Deering Memorial UMC is located on the corner of Main and Church Streets in South Paris.

OXFORD — Easter sunrise service at Grace Fellowship Church, located at 29 Poplar Street in Oxford, will be held at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 31, followed by a free breakfast. Everyone is welcome and be sure to dress warmly.
WATERFORD — Rev. Doretta Colburn invites all members and friends of the Oxford County United Parish churches in North Waterford and Stoneham to join in services for Holy Week, beginning with a Palm Sunday worship service on March 24, at 10 a.m. at the North Waterford Congregational Church, located on Five Kezars Road (off Routes 35 & 37, opposite Melby’s Market).
On Sunday, March 31, an Easter Sunrise Service will be jointly celebrated with Waterford Congregational Church at 6:30 a.m. at Keoka Lake town beach in Waterford, followed by Easter Breakfast at the Wilkins House. The Easter Sunday worship service will be held at 10 a.m. at the North Waterford Church.
NORWAY — Please join in on Sunday, March 31 at 11 a.m. as minister Rev. Fayre Stephenson speaks on Easter Hope and Renewal. People may differ about the significance of Easter but there are many aspects of Easter upon which all can agree. Easter is a time of renewal, rebirth and resurrection. Easter signifies a renewal of hope. On this Sunday, they will celebrate the hope and renewal of Easter and Spring at the Norway Unitarian Universalist church. The church is located at 479 Main St. in Norway. Religious Education and child care are provided and social hour follows the service. All are welcome.
OTISFIELD — Palm Sunday services on March 24 will be held in both churches at the usual times. Maundy Thursday service, on March 28, will be held at 7 p.m. at Spurr's Corner Church, led by Pastor Rick Mowery. The church is located on Route 121.
All are welcome. Good Friday service, on March 29, will be held at 7 p.m. at East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, led by Reverend Genise Stern. The church is located at 231 Rayville Rd, off Route 121. All are welcome.
On Easter Sunday, March 31, the Sunrise Service will be held at 6 a.m. at the Community of the Resurrection, led by Sister Renata. The Community of the Resurrection is located on Poplar Ridge Rd., off Route 121, shortly before the Casco town line.
People from the two congregations of the churches mentioned above will attend and all who wish to attend are welcome also. A Resurrection Breakfast will follow the Sunrise Service from 7:30-9 a.m. at Spurr's Corner Church. All are welcome. Easter Services will be held at each church at the regular times and, again, all are welcome.
