SEASONAL MUSIC 1 p.m. at the Harrison Village Library. Free and open to the public. Live music will feature Bea Asken on recorders and viols, Andrea Asken-Dunn on recorders and Neil James on lute and viol. . Stay and enjoy the whole concert, or listen while you browse for a read. CANDLELIGHT SERVICE 6 p.m. at the 1st Baptist Church of Paris Hill. All are welcome to attend. Pastor Caffey wants participants to know that "real" candles will not be used due to the age of the church building. Christmas carols and Scripture readings will share the true meaning of Christmas to families and neighbors. No offering will be taken. Building is handicap accessible. After the service a reception will be held in the Cummings Hall downstairs for all those who attend. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available for everyone. FMI call Rev. Caffey at 754-7970. CHRISTMAS EVE Services 4 p.m. family worship and 11:30 p.m. candlelight service at 1st Congregational Church, 17 E. Main St., So. Paris. Services will feature songs of Christmas, the story of Jesus from the Gospel of Luke and various sermons will all attempt to relate the Christmas story of hope and light to our everyday ordinary lives.
CHRISTMAS EVE Service 7 p.m. at the Congregational Church of E. Sumner, 50 Main St.
CHRISTMAS EVE Services 7 p.m. family friendly service at the Casco Village Church United Church of Christ, 941 Meadow Road (Route 121) in Casco. There will be special music, lots of carol singing and special surprises. At 9 p.m. there will be a candlelight communion service with full choir singing, a special late Christmas Eve Spirit and "Silent Night" sung outside around the creche.
CHRISTMAS EVE Service 7 p.m. at E. Otisfield Free Baptist Church, 231 Rayville Rd., off Rte. 121, Otisfield. Music will be provided by an expanded choir, directed by Priscilla Delehanty. Deacons holding a basket will collect a free-will offering as people leave after the service and money will be used to help area people in need.

All are welcome to join us in celebrating the holiest of nights in a beautiful stained glass sanctuary decorated for the season with greens and poinsettias.
CHRISTMAS EVE Family Service 5 p.m. at Waterford Congregational Church, Plummer Hill, Waterford Flat. Rev. Anita White will lead the service which will retell the Christmas story interspersed with carol singing and choir presentations. Service will end with a candlelight singing of "Silent Night."

CANDLELIGHT SERVICE 5 p.m. at the No. Waterford Church, 5 Kezars Rd. (off Rtes. 35 and 37 and opposite Melby's Market). All are invited to come and celebrate the Christmas story and enjoy traditional Christmas music. Service will be conducted by Rev. Doretta Colburn.
CANDLELIGHT SERVICE Sponsored by the United Parish Congregational Church of Harrison and No. Bridgton. 5 p.m. in the Community Room, next to Harrison Fire Station, High St. Service will feature special music, readings and carols.
CANDLELIGHT SERVICE 6 p.m. at the 1st Universalist Church, W. Paris. Service will include singing hymns, special music by musicians, Jim Burke, Jeremiah Goodwin and Brian Dunham, storytelling and a candlelight recessional. All are welcome to attend. In place of the traditional offering the church will be accepting donations of nonperishable food or money for the W. Paris Food Pantry.

BINGO 9 p.m.-midnight at Stone Smart Post 82, 212 Main St., Norway. Doors open at 7 p.m. Kitchen will be open for burgers and sandwiches, party favors will be available for the stroke of midnight as well as sparkling cider to toast in the New Year.

OIL AWARENESS Movies Hosted by John O'Brien. 7 p.m. at the Waterford Town Office, 366 Valley Rd., Waterford. Showings are to raise awareness to the threat of tar sands oil flowing through the Portland Pipeline which runs through Western ME and by Sebago Lake. Waterford residents will gather to watch two films, one in opposition to tar sands and one in support of tar sands. A community conversation and questions and answer session will follow.
