Norway Savings promotes Noble

NORWAY — Norway Savings Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Noble to Assistant Vice President, Facilities & Purchasing effective January 1. In his new position, Mike oversees the planning, budgeting and scheduling for all facility and equipment maintenance, modifications and acquisitions.

His responsibilities expand to include serving as a member of the project team in the construction of new branches and the renovation of existing branches. He also performs purchasing and inventory control for supplies and services needed in the day to day operations of the bank.

Previously, Mike has held positions in business management, environmental, health and safety compliance, and retail banking. He is a licensed Maine Real Estate Broker and a Certified Building Operator by the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council. He also served in the United States Naval Reserve, where he retired as a Lieutenant Commander.

Mike attended Lyndon State College, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology. He serves on Norway Savings’ Safety and Wellness committee and currently is a trustee at the Norway Water District.
