Smith joins SMH as Thrift Shop Coordinator
NORWAY — Stephens Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Kelsey Smith has been hired as the new Thrift Shop Coordinator.
Kelsey graduated from Fisher College in Boston with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. Most recently she has been working as a manager for a retail store in Portland.
Kelsey is looking forward to her new position as the Thrift Shop Coordinator and shares, “I am very excited about my new position as the Thrift Shop Coordinator. I am looking forward to working with the community and being a part of a great organization.”
The SMH Thrift Shop, located on Danforth Street in Norway, has been a significant resource to the community for decades. SMH will be making many improvements to the Thrift Shop including expanded hours and days of the week and rotating stock daily to provide an enhanced shopping experience.
They have recently added a donation drop box which makes it more convenient for individuals to drop off merchandise.
Proceeds from the sales at the Thrift Shop benefits Stephens Memorial Hospital and helps purchase medical equipment. To learn more about the benefits of volunteering at the Thrift Shop, please contact Sharon Nightingale at 744-6071. For more information please visit www.wmhcc.org.
