Small business tax workshop offered

AREA — Are you scrambling to organize your shoebox of receipts or trying to establish a better system for keeping track of your business income and expenses?

Women, Work & Community will be offering a three-hour workshop “Small Business Owners Tax Workshop” designed for individuals with business income to report, whether you plan to do your own taxes or work with a professional tax preparer.

This workshop will be held Wednesday, February 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lewiston, Farmington and South Paris libraries. Snow date will be February 27, from 5 to 8 p.m.

This three-hour workshop will help you learn about what you need to prepare your business taxes; get organized, feel confident and be ready and get the tools for organizing your financial records. Signs at each library will inform you in what room the video will be broadcast.
