The Chamber and SCORE Roundtables are back. This month we are pleased to kick off the new year with a roundtable on marketing plans. The program is scheduled for Wednesday, January 23, from 8 to 9 a.m., at the Norway town office at 19 Danforth Street in Norway.

Everyone needs a marketing plan, especially this time of the year, and the experts at SCORE will present 10 questions to discuss and answer in order to facilitate the results you desire for your business or your organization.

Join us for this session which will provide both educational content and discussion opportunities.

SCORE is also presenting a workshop in February, on the 12th, as a start up for those wanting to get involved with Constant Contact and it’s emailing marketing system. The workshop will be held at the town office in Norway from 9 to 11 a.m. Give the SCORE office a call – 743-0499 – to register.

The Chamber is in the process of organizing its committees for 2013 and although we have board members who are required to serve on the committees, we are also looking for non-board people who have an interest in helping facilitate the important work that goes on at the committee level.

Committees that will be working on behalf of the Oxford Hills in 2013 include Member Business; Legislative Affairs; Business Exposition; Leon Truman Chamber Golf Classic; Oxford Hills Christmas Parade and Festival of Trees; Oxford Hills Home Show.
