QuickBooks course offered by CMCC

AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer Intermediate QuickBooks 2011 Monday mornings, January 7 through February 25, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $275 and includes all materials.

QuickBooks is the one of the most popular small-business computer accounting packages available. Class participants will learn how to use classes, manage physical inventories, payroll, estimates and time tracking features.

In addition, students will learn how to use QuickBooks 2011 to incorporate balance sheet accounts, budgets, and create reports on the end-of-year closing of the books. A basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and accounting is recommended.
