Center announces new board member

OXFORD — Oxford SACC & Preschool Center would like to welcome Jo-Linn Tibbetts, of Otisfield, to the Community Nonprofit Board of Directors. Jo-Linn was voted onto the Oxford SACC Board of Directors in November 2012.

She has been an active volunteer with the program over the last year. She coordinated the donation of all the materials and labor for the new storage shed through KBS Builders as a part of the Champions for Children Outside Renovation Project.

She is a 1997 graduate of USM with a double major of Social & Behavioral Sciences and Management & Organizational Studies. She also went on to pursue her Master’s Degree in 2006 from USM, Muskie School of Public Service in Health Policy and Management.

She is a licensed Social Worker in the State of Maine and has been employed with Seniors Plus in Lewiston since 1997 as a Team Leader and most recently as a Care Coordinator.

Jo-Linn enjoys spending time with her two boys, Wyatt and Marshall.
