NSB to open Auburn branch

AUBURN — Norway Savings Bank will open a new full-service branch in downtown Auburn. Norway Savings Bank’s Auburn branch will be located on the ground floor of 31 Court Street, now called The Norway Savings Bank Plaza (formerly the Dunlap Building) and is scheduled to open in early spring 2013. When it opens, it will be Norway Savings Bank’s 22nd location in Maine.

When open next spring, Norway Savings Bank’s Auburn branch will offer a full array of deposit and loan services including personal and business banking and asset management services including trust and estate planning, investment management and financial planning. Online banking and free checking accounts are available now by signing up online at http://www.norwaysavingsbank.com/open/.

The new location will be staffed by local employees including Financial Solutions Specialists, Loan Officers, Investment and Branch Management. The lobby area will have a fireplace, comfortable customer seating area, and an original vault. Rather than a traditional teller line, customers will experience an open environment with service stations, also known as a “Dialogue Branch” layout.
