Business roundtable scheduled

NORWAY — Oxford Hills Business Roundtable on Thursday, October 18 will address "Identity Theft: How it affects you, your family and your business."

Identity theft has become a serious national problem with significant adverse impacts for both individuals and businesses. In addition to protecting your own personal and company information, a business owner must also take adequate steps to protect confidential customer information.

Speaker Regina Krause, a principal of Northeast Risk Management Services and a Risk Management Specialist with extensive experience and expertise in combating fraud, will cover such topics as: What is identity theft?

The forms of identity theft; How identity theft can impact your business, employees and family; How to minimize your risk with pro-active mitigation measures. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.

Roundtable will be at Norway Town Office, 19 Danforth Street in Norway. Coffee will be available at 7:45 a.m. with the Roundtable promptly starting at 8 a.m. and ending 9 a.m.
