Wirths appointed VP at NSB

NORWAY — Norway Savings Bank is pleased to announce Tavia Wirths recently accepted the position of Vice President, Internal Audit Manager and Compliance Officer. Wirths is based out of the Bank’s Main Office in Norway.

Wirths has an extensive background in the banking industry and audit experience. Her new role will be responsible for the Bank’s internal audit process, monitoring and performing audits. She will also chair the Compliance Committee and will oversee the Bank’s compliance program by working with department managers.

Wirths is on the Board of the local chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and serves as both Secretary and Treasurer for the local chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She also is a member of the local chapters of the Information Systems and Control Association and the Information Systems Security Association.
