Auditions for Serving Up Broadway! set

PARIS — Kyle Jordan, Chairman of the Oxford Hills School District Music Department, is proud to announce auditions for an original Broadway musical review entitled “Serving Up Broadway!”

The show, which will include one song from the 20 well-known musicals performed biennially in the Oxford Hills since 1974, will take place April 5-6 in the Mark S. Eastman Auditorium at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

“Serving Up Broadway” is a retrospective tribute to those responsible for, and those who have been a part of, this long-time Oxford Hills tradition. Several original cast members have agreed to reprise their roles. While many of these people still live in Maine, some are coming from Massachusetts, Alabama and as far away as California.

Casting opportunities call for a full chorus, five male solos, and elementary and middle school choruses. The ladies are needed, too! Auditions will take place at OHCHS on Monday, January 28 and Tuesday, January 29. Both nights start at 6:30 p.m.

This will be a great opportunity to see old friends reprise roles, and have wonderful voices come together singing the most beloved Broadway tunes. Join in celebrating almost 40 years of Broadway in the Oxford Hills!
