Gallery offers local art for sale

NORWAY — Main Street Gallery, 424 Main Street in Norway, is open until December 24 for shoppers near and far. Additions to the gallery are new artworks, jewelry by Suzie Bottomly and a Have a Heart for Art Campaign.

A large Christmas ball, red, gold or silver with the donor's name, will accompany any donation to Western Maine Art Group to be placed for display on a Christmas Tree at the gallery. The WMAG is looking to structurally repair the upstairs portion of the building for use in the spring, so donations are very much appreciated.

So, if you are not sure on what to purchase for the holidays, come and make a donation on behalf of yourself or a loved one. It will go to furthering the opportunity for the arts in our community, schools, hospital and nursing homes.

The funds will also go for educational outings to museums, galleries, and for scholarships for seniors and students looking to know more about the arts.
