Ballroom dancers are in Nutcracker

PORTLAND — Eight young dancers from The Ballroom in Harrison, plus their teacher, Juliette Lauzier, will be dancing in the Maine State Ballet’s production of the holiday classic "The Nutcracker" at Merrill Auditorium in Portland November 24, 25 and 30 and December 1 and 2.

The talented local dancers earning parts in this season's show are Linnea Bradbury, Elise Dekutoski, Breahna Jenkins, Hannah Leonard, Nikki Moore, Madison Perkins, Jasmine Rondeau and Lauren Ruby.

Their teacher, Juliette Lauzier, will be dancing in her 33rd "Nutcracker" this season (starting her "Nutcracker" career as a little reindeer) having danced with the Maine State Ballet since its inception!
