Piano concert features Lopez

LEWISTON — Acclaimed concert pianist and Franco Center favorite George Sebastian Lopez will be performing a special concert on Friday, September 14 at 7:30 p.m.

This concert will serve as a welcome back to the Franco Center's patrons after its annual summer hiatus, and is the first of a small number of events in advance of the Center's 2012-2013 season, which will be announced in its entirety in mid-September.

George Sebastian Lopez, pianist, has been featured across the globe as recitalist, soloist with orchestra, and collaborator. Mr. Lopez received critical acclaim for his interpretation of Bach’s Goldberg Variations at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and performed the complete cycle of Beethoven Piano Concertos in his last two concert seasons.
