Willy Wonka Junior at Schoolhouse

STANDISH — Schoolhouse Arts Center’s musical theater students will present "Willy Wonka Junior" from August 24-26.

Adapted for the stage by Timothy Allen McDonald and Leslie Bricusse, with lyrics and music by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, Roald Dahl’s timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir comes to life in this stage adaptation of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," which features the songs from the classic family film "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."

This scrumdidilyumptious musical is guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth. This production will take you on a fantasy ride into the land of pure imagination!

Performances of "Willy Wonka Junior" will be held on Friday, August 24, at 7 p.m., Saturday, August 25 at 4 and 7 p.m., and Sunday, August 26, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, and $5 for children under five.
