Chaplin's 'Modern Times' at DAC

DENMARK — Come join the Denmark Arts Center for this matinee showing of Charlie Chaplin’s classic “Modern Times.” In his most famous outing, see the Tramp endure through the struggles and navigate the machinery of modern living.

A timeless comic masterpiece, it is to be shown at the Denmark Arts Center on Sunday, August 12 at 4 p.m. A $4 donation is suggested.

Charlie Chaplin is perhaps the most memorable and loved silent film star of early cinema. Producing and directing much of his own work, Chaplin became a global superstar with his work on “The Kid,” “A Woman of Paris,” “Modern Times” and “A King in New York.”

Remaining active up until his death, Chaplin scored his own films and received an honorary Academy Award in 1972 at the age of 83.
