'Moore' fun at Moore park

MOORE VARIETY — The 2012 Moore Park Art Show will feature a variety of artists, artisans and live entertainment July 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. including the Neveah Dance Company, above, the Gypsy Relics, Paul & Ellen, Brad Hooper, Terry Swett, Just Us Two and a dog agility demo.


PARIS – What has “moore” arts and crafts, “moore” live entertainment and “moore” fun for all ages? The Moore Park Arts & Crafts Show July 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (rain date July 29) held in the historic Moore Park on Route 26 in South Paris.

Along with arts to appeal to any taste, “moore” community-oriented elements are being added this year by the Paris Parks & Recreation to provide something for everyone.

In addition to 50 artists who will be exhibiting fine art paintings, fiber arts, sculpture, metal-smithed and beaded jewelry, glass arts, wood carvings, and photography there will also be the Oxford Hills Rotary giant bounce house for kids, the CHIPs progra.m. will be on site to ID kids, a dog agility demo will be presented by Kanine Kare, and there will also be giant inflatable sculptures provided by Fred Garbo.

A Full day of live entertainment includes:

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Artist and Artisan Exhibits

9a.m. – Kanine Kare K-9 Agility Demo

10 a.m. – Neveah Dancers

11 a.m. – Just Us Two

11:30 a.m. – Gypsy Relics

12 p.m. – Award Winner Announcements & Local Recoded Musicians Featured

1p.m. – Guitarist Terry Swett

2 p.m. – Troubadour Brad Squintwood Hooper

3 p.m. – Paul & Ellen
