Family music event at school

SUMNER — The Nezinscot Valley Music Boosters is sponsoring another great family music event at the Hartford-Sumner Elementary School. Peruvian musicians Inkas Wasi will be presenting a free evening of music on Friday, March 8 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the gymnasium at the school.

This event will serve as the culmination of this year's integrated theme across the school, "South American Sojourn."

The evening will consist of an open house, where visitors can explore student displays of South American wildlife from 5:30-6:30 p.m., visit the Scholastic Book Fair in the library from 4:30-6:30 p.m., bring a dish to share at the potluck dinner from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and complete the evening with traditional music and dance of the Andes with Inkas Wasi in the gym.
