Early Evening Show at Buckfield High School

BUCKFIELD — The Early Evening Show will be presented at Buckfield High School, 160 Morrill St. in Buckfield, on Saturday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and $14 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.boodogfilms.com.

The Early Evening Show is a spoof of late-night talk shows hosted by funny man Mike Miclon. The Early Evening Show has been performed from Maine to Switzerland and comes complete with an eccentric cast of characters including Dickie Hyper-Hynie, Moto Hoonchbach, Fritz Grobe, the Duffas and the Early Evening Show Orchestra.

The show's wild improvisations, surprise guests and audience interactions have made it the longest-running live variety show in Maine. The Bangor Daily News called it "a seamless, hilarious production" and CBS Sunday Morning called it "must-see reality."

This month's show will feature new material and some old favorites and will benefit Boo Dog Film's feature-length comedy "Richard3," which is in production now. This show will include the first official trailer for the film.
