Christmas for Teens committee thanks everyone

To the Editor:

On behalf of Christmas for Teens, we would like to thank the community once again, for supporting the recent Christmas for Teens Benefit Show. This event, along with individual as well as corporate donations, helps us provide Christmas for deserving area teens. Last year, we provided Christmas for 185 OHMS and OHCHS students. With everyone’s support, this concert raised $3500 toward our goal of providing Christmas for all of our deserving teens in the Oxford Hills.

A heartfelt thanks to the Music Director/Producer, Cynthia Wescott, for her many years of support. Also, thanks go to Al Wescott , lighting director, Virginia Noble, accompanist, Sally Riman, asst. music director, Jim Riman, sound technician, Chris Bass, set designer, Pat Jillson, costume manager, and Stephanie Michaud, stage manager. Along with many other support crew, we appreciate the Benefit Choir, for their many hours of preparation for this event.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to the Downeasters Barbershop Chorus for joining in this year’s concert, titled, "Christmas is Sharing." Either working with the Benefit Chorus or alone, they brought the house down with their performance.

Finally, thanks to Heidi Charlton for her support, Loretta McDonald, Jewel Nolan, along with Kathy Bean, Toni Hamlin, Connie Allen, Jenn St. Pierre, Pam Colby, Patty Thomas and Carlene Treadwell. Without all of the community working together, this program would not happen. Thank you all for "sharing."
