Thank you for support

To the Editor:

I would like to thank all of you who supported me by working on my campaign and voting for me during last week's election. While unsuccessful, I met many incredible people and developed a deeper appreciation for our community and the people who live here.

I would also like to thank the voters who supported the new Cumberland County Charter. Looking forward, I will be working with fellow charter commissioners to redistrict Cumberland County to make way for two new county commissioners. I will also wrap up work as Chair of the Cumberland County Budget Advisory Board. In addition, I will soon begin work on a new project – reviewing Time Warner Cable Agreements in Western Maine to determine whether regionalizing our local cable contracts is an option, giving area towns better bargaining leverage in the future.

I will continue to do what I've always done, work for the best interests of our people and Western Maine. To my opponent Paul Waterhouse - congratulations and best wishes representing the voters of House District 98.
