Visit Bridgton Community Center

To the Editor:

The next time you are in Bridgton make sure you take some time and visit the Bridgton Community Center. Just inside the entrance is a fantastic art exhibit. The art was created by the clients from Landmark Human Resources. The paintings are done in a number of different mediums and are just a delight to behold.

I was happy to have visited on the first day of the exhibit. All the artists were eager to explain what their paintings depicted and made sure that I got some refreshments.

For those of you who do not know, Landmark Human Resources is a nonprofit that services people with mental and physical disabilities from both Cumberland and Oxford Counties. Landmark has been servicing this population for over 30 years. They have offices located in North Bridgton and South Paris.

The exhibit ends November 19. Go visit. You won’t be disappointed.
