Thank you Rotary

To the Editor:

For 12 years the generous, and fun to be with, members of the Rotary Club of Oxford Hills have sponsored the Student of the Month Program at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. Each month, a freshman, sophomore, junior and senior share breakfast and song with Rotary Club members. It is a joyous celebration of the exceptional accomplishments of 28 fabulous students each year.

In addition to the breakfast, each month the students enjoy lunch with Ted Moccia, Principal of OHCHS and Shawn Lambert, Director of OHTS. This very delicious lunch is donated by Susan Berry, manager of Oxford Pizza Hut.

The Advertiser Democrat supports our Program by finding four local businesses each month to sponsor our students' photographs and description of their interests and why they were nominated. Lastly, each student is given their own individual plaque donated by George and Jeanne Rubly of Lake Region Awards.

Oxford Hills is, quite frankly, a wonderful place to live and work. The generosity and care shown to our students by our community is like no other. A very sincere thanks to all of you!
