To the Editor:

Please call Governor Lepage at 287-3531 and ask him to support State Rep Beth O'Connor's legislation to give us a choice of buying gas with or without ethanol. Currently we have no choice; all gas in Maine has ethanol. This is not because it is mixed at the refinery, it is not; it is mixed at the terminal as it goes on the trucks because ethanol attracts water.

Ethanol costs you 3 percent or more mileage.
