Boys are not guilty

To the Editor:

I have just been informed that my son and nephew were in the news this am, front page. I am not from the area any longer but I find it disturbing that you would put these kids on the front page.

I take it there was nothing positive going on in the region, so the kids get the short end of the stick.

The problem here is that the accusations against these boys (Curtis boys) is, they had just walked in to the house when the underage girls who told the police they had been there partying were just leaving!

Ty did not know these girls personally and Adam had never met them before except that they had seen them leave. These boys were not giving alcohol to anyone!

The party was over and all the boys were sleeping, when the police woke them up and said they were under arrest!

This is not front page news. These boys are not guilty of what has been said about them and I am offended not just for them, but for the lack of integrity involved in the police department and the paper.

You people need to get a life!
