Grange thanks residents for patronage

To the Editor:

For the second year, the Saturday Farmers’ Market was held in the Norway Grange Hall during October, November and December. On these Saturdays, the Grange sold raffle tickets on gift baskets to help pay for the recently exterior painting of the hall. Once again, thanks to the generosity of the public, this effort was very successful. Private donations, along with raffle receipts, have assisted substantially in making loan payments for the work done.

Raffle basket winners for the Fall of 2010 were Joan Parker, Barbara Vallee and Pricilla Coffin.

The officers and members of Norway Grange 45 would like to thank the residents of the Oxford Hills for their patronage of the Norway Farmers’ Market and the Norway Grange raffle.
