OUIs -- October 25 - 29

OXFORD COUNTY – The following are drivers who were apprehended by local law enforcement officers and charged with operating motor vehicles while under the influence of an intoxicating substance (OUI):

Sawyer J. Mellen, 25, of Buckfield, was arrested on East Buckfield Road at 10:20 p.m., Monday, October 25, by State Trooper Dan Hanson.

Aaron Wayne Newton, 38, of Peru, was arrested for OUI on Greenwoods Road, Peru, at 10:40 p.m., Saturday, October 30, by State Trooper Kyle Tilsley. Newton was also accused of driving beyond the restrictions of his license and operating after his license was suspended as a habitual offender.
