NAPLES — Police are looking for Jessie Lavalle in connection with a robbery that took place in May.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Department issued a wanted poster on Lavalle, 21, of Windham, alleging that he was the man depicted on a security camera while trying to rob the Rte-Aid pharmacy on Roosevelt Trail (Route 302) on May 10. He was able to flee with some Oxycontin medication. Although he threatened to shoot  the store employees, no one saw a gun, nor was anyone injured.

After receiving his drugs, the robber fled, disappearing so rapidly, on foot, that police were unable to catch him.

Cumberland County Sheriff's Captain Don Goulet said the suspected robber was connected to a similar offense in Biddeford and had last been living with his mother in Windham, although his father lives in Wells.

Anyone who has information about the suspect's whereabouts or that might lead to his capture is asked  to call the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department at 774-1444 or 1-800-266-1444 extension 2215.
