New book sale chair announced

BOOK SALE CHAIRPERSON — The Friends of Norway Memorial Library announce that Chris Long will be the new chairperson for the summer used book sale held annually on the day of the Norway Arts Festival. Chris is pictured here with Barbara Howard, the outgoing chairperson, as the book sale notebook is passed from Barbara to Chris. They are standing in front of the shelf that holds the gently used books that are on sale continuously throughout the winter at the Norway Memorial Library. There are many adult mass market and trade paperbacks, primarily recent fiction, and there are many children's books for older and younger readers in hard and soft covers. In addition, there are many National Geographic hardcover books published during the 1970s and 1980s on various countries, nature, and peoples of the world. Stop in and pick up a good read for these cold winter days and you might be transported somewhere warmer.
